Kevin joined the Newton Abbot Methodist Circuit in 2007 becoming Superintendent Minister of the Teignbridge Circuit, in 2012. 
He undertook a sabbatical during the summer of 2016 which resulted in an Illustrated Psalter, featuring stunning photographs of Dartmoor.

Rev Gill Daniel

Minister responsible for 

The Avenue , Shaldon Road, 

Teignmouth Methodist Churches

Gill was a country girl from the farming sphere of North Cornwall before Ministry took her  to Queens College, Jersey and the Black Country,  She is delighted to be back in her Devon homeland closer to her family.

In her late twenties  she felt her heart 'strangely warmed' and this faith led her into many wonderful adventures for God; Preaching, the Ark Angel Christian bookshop, Lay Chaplaincy at HMP Dartmoor, and now Ministry - the best vocation in the world with the best boss in the world !

Sharon Hurlow

Lay Minister with responsibility for 

Bishopsteignton, Dawlish, Shaldon, Zoom Methodist Churches

Sharon has had a very varied and diverse career path.  Starting as a nurse, she  married and had children,  worked in a bank in a bank, then worked for Teen Challenge, a Christian charity helping people with addiction where she taught and preached about Jesus.

Sharon moved back to Devon to care for her parents and became Circuit Administrator and a Steward, trained as a Local Preacher, and now acts as a Lay Minister serving the Methodist Coastal Section and Zoom Church.

Sharon Canning

Sharon works in the Circuit's Moorland section visiting homes, nursing/residential homes and hospitals providing pastoral support to members, their families and sharing faith and prayer in times of crisis and bereavement.  

She reports to the Superintendent Minister, keeping him informed of situations and needs, and where necessary, liaising with appropriate circuit and district officers.

She also works to support and encourage pastoral visitors and class leaders, seeking to build up networks of care and has developed a telephone ministry.  She also promotes Dementia Friendly Church and Safeguarding awareness, among others, as ways of enhancing the caring ministry of the whole Church.
